10 digit dialing

I knew that change was coming up.

Initial reaction: It's kind of annoying. Though I hadn't previously known that 509 was the only area code in the state that was still doing 7 digit dialing.

Still, it does seem like it'll just be an annoying change... and I'm also not sure the claimed reason for the change justifies such a widespread effect. But I haven't checked much into the underlying situation to have a full understanding of it.

In the end, there are much bigger problems out there for us to be discussing, and this just doesn't seem worth the energy.
