"Little Or No Snow Accumulation Expected"

I'm sure that's what was stated for today's forecast. But that's not what we got just outside Winthrop.

It's rather wet and heavy snow, but it seems to be over a foot in depth. That seems rather more than little accumulation to me, when a lot of it must be shoveled off the walkways.

Is this because of the weather radar shadow that Cliff Mass has spoken about? He seems to have expected this snowfall .

"Little or no snow accululation" is also the word for tomorrow. But Cliff seems to be expecting more snow, and probably wind, tomorrow and the next few days, with a Pacific cyclone approaching the coast tomorrow.
